Dan Demaree, President & CEO

Dan founded DPR Group, Inc., in 1998, with the goal of providing world-class public relations and marketing support to a wide range of technology providers, manufacturers and professional services companies. Throughout the years, Dan has sought to hire the most experienced PR and marketing professionals and then help them focus on meeting and exceeding our clients’ needs and expectations. Under Dan’s leadership, DPR Group has continued to evolve our techniques, tools and strategies so that we can continue to help companies achieve breakthrough visibility for their products and services.

Prior to founding DPR Group, Dan worked at a major public relations agency and served in corporate communications positions for software companies in Boston and the Carolinas. He possesses more than two decades of proven experience helping companies to increase brand awareness, launch new products, introduce new services, prepare for profitable buyouts and IPOs, and supply the PR strategy to support overall growth. Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University and a master’s in technical and scientific communication from Miami University of Ohio.

 

Jeanne Zepp

Jeanne Zepp, Director of Public Relations

Jeanne provides strategic advice and direction to staff members executing national public relations campaigns across a variety of industry verticals.  Jeanne’s extensive background in writing, editing, development, marketing, communications, public relations and strategic planning adds an extra dimension to the public relations insights she brings to this position. Jeanne is the recipient of numerous writing and editing awards, most recently the ASAE’s Gold Circle Award, recognizing the four-color membership newsletter she wrote, edited and published.

Prior to joining DPR Group, Jeanne managed public relations, marketing and grant development activities for a $4.5 million nonprofit. Previously, she owned and operated a writing and editing firm serving clients in the medical, legal and educational fields. Earlier, Jeanne directed a planning and assessment division for a major federal agency, developing strategic short- and long-range plans and managing all public affairs activities including liaison with the White House, Congress, press and other federal agencies.

Jeanne also served as a senior technical writer and editor for ManTech, an international high-tech company. There, she did extensive work with military weapons system as well as business development. Jeanne holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, cum laude, from Trinity College (now Trinity Washington University).

 

Liz Palm, Director of Marketing

With more than 10 years’ experience implementing successful public relations, marketing and communications campaigns, Liz offers company-wide guidance and support in developing targeted marketing strategy that integrate social media techniques to maximize impact. Her dedication to keeping abreast of changing trends translates to strategic advice that is ahead of the curve, allowing DPR Group clients to benefit from the reach and immediacy of leading tools.

Liz draws from significant industry experience, encompassing both B2B and B2C, to help craft marketing and public relations plans that achieve significant results. Prior to joining DPR Group, Liz managed sales and marketing for a service organization. Her strategic marketing campaigns led to a 13 percent rise in profit in a single year. Her past and present clients include companies in software development, cloud computing, defense contracting, telecommunications, mobile computing, retail and consumer services. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Penn State University.
