DPR Group Appoints Kara Schiltz as Account Executive in its New North Carolina Office

CARY, N.C. – October 24, 2005 – DPR Group, Inc., a full-service agency specializing in providing public relations services to a broad range of technology companies, announced today that Kara Schiltz has joined the firm as account executive in the Cary, North Carolina office. In her position, Schiltz will provide strategic counsel and manage key clients in day-to-day public relations activities while assisting with the growth and development of the office. With headquarters in Germantown, Md., near Washington D.C., DPR Group opened its Southeastern Division in Cary, N.C. earlier this month and has already landed multiple accounts. In addition to the Schiltz appointment, DPR Group anticipates hiring four to six additional staff members over the next year to service its growing client portfolio.

Schiltz brings to the agency a distinctive mix of strategic, technical and creative expertise. She has extensive background managing a complete range of services, including media and analyst relations, message development, competitive analysis, corporate visibility and thought leadership.

Prior to joining DPR Group, Schiltz served for two years as an account executive at the New York City headquarters of technology public relations firm Articulate Communications, Inc. While at Articulate, she was responsible for driving successful public relations campaigns for technology and business-to-business companies ranging from start ups to Fortune 1000 companies. Schiltz began her career in media planning and buying at a Durham, NC-based full-service communications firm.

A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Schiltz holds a bachelor of journalism in advertising degree.
