Veteran High-Tech Public Relations Executive Joins DPR Group

CARY, N.C. – Jan. 17, 2006 – DPR Group, Inc., a full-service agency that provides public relations and marketing support services to a broad range of technology companies, announced today that Michelle Perkins has joined the firm as account executive in the company’s Cary, North Carolina office. Perkins will manage key clients in day-to-day public relations initiatives while assisting with the growth and development of the office. With the signing of several new clients, Perkins is the latest in a round of new appointments for DPR Group’s Southeast Division.

Prior to joining DPR Group, Perkins served for more than nine years as an account executive with a N.C.-based high-tech public relations agency, where she was responsible for developing and implementing public relations campaigns for a diverse client portfolio spanning the database software, engineering software, electronics, computer graphics technologies and systems integration markets. Throughout her career, Perkins has counseled scores of both domestic and international technology executives on media relations, strategic messaging, product launches and executing corporate visibility campaigns. Perkins began her career in marketing and public relations for a technology publishing company in Durham, N.C.

Perkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in public relations from Southeast Missouri State University.
