Edward Lin Celebrates Five-year Anniversary with DPR Group

Lin earns promotion to senior account executive based on outstanding work

Frederick, Md.DPR Group, Inc., a full-service public relations and marketing agency serving a broad range of business and technology companies, celebrated Edward Lin’s five-year tenure within the organization. The event was marked by a company luncheon at Firestone’s Restaurant in downtown Frederick, with the entire staff in attendance.

In addition, DPR Group’s CEO, Dan Demaree, promoted Lin to senior account executive, based on his years of outstanding work for the company’s clients. In that capacity, Lin will continue to manage the strategic and day-to-day public relations for several key accounts in the supply chain, manufacturing and technology sectors. As senior account executive, he will also serve in an advisory role to the CEO and provide other account executives with oversight, advice and support as needed.

Lin joined DPR Group in 2014 as an account coordinator. From the start, his attention to detail and conscientious work habits impressed clients and inspired colleagues. His success with content development, Inbound Marketing, and securing editorial coverage, awards and speaking engagements on behalf of DPR Group’s clients earned him rapid promotions to assistant account executive and then account executive. His positive attitude and willingness to help others and take on tasks outside his immediate responsibilities established him as a steady and reliable force within the company.

Lin holds a bachelor’s degree in media communications studies with a minor in American studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He is also Hubspot Academy certified in Inbound Marketing.
