It’s been an exciting year so far for DPR Group, with new clients, a new office, and, of course, new team members. We’re excited to introduce our latest addition: Austin Suggs, Account Coordinator!
Austin’s range of expertise—and his ability to understand and communicate complex ideas—make him a valuable asset to DPR and our high-tech clients. He brings over five years of digital marketing experience, with specialties in video production and social media marketing. Additionally, he is a skilled writer, researcher, and speech writer.
Austin graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. Given his passion for exploring complex topics, studying something which women and men have thought, discussed, and, at times, argued about for millennia was a perfect fit. He is now excited to build off this experience and learn all he can about clients across diverse and complex sectors—including supply chain, clean tech, B2B software, manufacturing, and more.
A Frederick native, Austin is grateful to have returned home after attending college in Chicago. Before college, Austin worked full-time in nonprofit marketing. There, he learned the ins and outs of social media management, video production, and branding.
Ever keen to grow and develop, Austin started his own YouTube channel during this time. What began as a creative challenge to himself—making one video per week—has turned into a thriving channel with 100,000 monthly viewers and 3 million lifetime views. Through this project, Austin has not only honed his communication skills. He’s also gained valuable insight into the growing field of influencer marketing by working with sponsors.
Today, Austin lives in Williamsport, Maryland, with his wife and high school sweetheart, Eliza. In his free time, you can find him playing guitar, rock climbing, or trying out a new homemade bread recipe.
When asked about starting at DPR, Austin said, “I’m very excited for the challenge of working at DPR and serving high tech clients. I hope this is the start of a long and fruitful career in Public Relations.”
