Charging technology company Power Up, owned by Barcoding Inc., is building a fleet of solar-powered charging trailers — with up to 150 charging ports — to be used in disaster situations.
More than 6 million people lost power in Florida as Hurricane Irma moved across the state over the weekend. Power Up is currently working with partners in Florida to help displaced residents and those without power stay connected and keep their phones working.
