This week marked a major milestone for DPR Group: its first employee to celebrate 10 years of continuous employment with the firm. Jeanne Zepp, director of public relations, came on board on March 5, 2007 as an account executive. Over the intervening years, Jeanne progressively moved up the career ladder to senior account executive and then director.
Jeanne recalls, “When I came to DPR Group, the firm was an established player in the B2B marketplace. While that has not changed over the past 10 years, it seems like everything else has – and for the better! Our offices moved from Germantown to Frederick, Maryland; we’ve transitioned our technology to the cloud; we’ve expanded our practice areas and incorporated inbound marketing as a business offering; and we’ve adopted social media, webinars and video presentations as key components of our outreach efforts for clients. It’s great to be part of a progressive firm that evolves with the times but still retains that small organization feel and sense of collegiality among staff.”
DPR Group founder & president, Dan Demaree, adds, “Jeanne has played an important role in DPR Group’s growth over the years, representing clients, contributing to our corporate vision and being someone on whom I can always depend. Her clients feel the same way, too. Notably, she still represents her very first client – QuestaWeb, Inc. – today. I think that speaks volumes about the kind of public relations professional she is. I thank Jeanne for her many contributions, congratulate her on this accomplishment and look forward to working with her for many more years to come.”
The entire DPR Group staff attended a luncheon at Dutch’s Daughter restaurant in Frederick to celebrate the milestone. There, Dan presented Jeanne with a pyramid-shaped crystal award, with an inscription that aptly says, “To Jeanne Zepp, 10 Years of Outstanding Service.”
